The 56th Academy of Country Music Awards Nominees Announced

CMHofF Exhibit Highlights 2020 In Country Music

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum will open the exhibit American Currents: State of the Music on Friday, March 12, 2021, highlighting the most significant developments in country music over the previous year. Those recognized in this year’s exhibition through artifacts on display include Gabby Barrett, Casey Beathard, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Dan + Shay, Mickey Guyton, Miranda Lambert, Ashley McBryde, Rissi Palmer, John Prine, Sister Sadie, Billy Strings and Eddie Stubbs. Also included is a video compilation of important country music moments from 2020, and the year’s chart-topping albums, singles and highest-grossing tours.  The exhibit runs through Feb. 6, 2022.

GRAMMYS POSTPONED!  Church receives Grammy Nomination 

The Grammy Awards were moved from January 31 to March 14 due to the severity of the COVID-19 pandemic in Los Angeles, and now more details are emerging about how the show will be staged. Sources tell Variety that everything is subject to change, but right now, the plan is to hold the ceremony in the outdoor part of the Los Angeles Convention Center, using the Staples Center. Many of the performances are likely to be pre-recorded, Variety adds, but there will be a few live performances. C2C: Country To Country Music Festival Postponed to 2022

The Country To Country (C2C) Festival – originally scheduled for March 13-15, 2020 and later postponed to March 12-14, 2021 – has been pushed to March 11-13, 2022. Performances from artists including headliners Eric Church, Darius Rucker and Luke Combs were slated to take place in London, Dublin and Glasgow as part of the annual event.
