CMT Music Awards, First Round of Performers Announced: Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Lainey Wilson & More

In addition to performances from Lainey Wilson, Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown (who was previously announced with his wife Katelyn), other artists scheduled to take the stage include Blake Shelton, Carly Pearce, Cody Johnson, and Keith Urban, who are all nominees. Carrie Underwoodwas the first performer announced for the award show. Voting for the 2023 CMT MUSIC AWARDS is now open at vote.cmt.com.  More performers and presenters at the 2023 CMT MUSIC AWARDS will be announced in the coming weeks.  The 2023 CMT Music Awards are set for April 2 at Austin, Texas’ Moody Center, and the show will air (8:00PM EST) on the CBS Television Network and will be available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+.

Kelsea Ballerini Extends Heartfirst Tour With 10 New Summer 2023 Dates

Kelsea Ballerini extended her Heartfirst Tour once again on Thursday (March 2), booking 10 new shows for June and early July. The just-announced shows kick off June 16 in Santa Barbara, Calif., and they’ll keep the singer busy through July 1. Tickets for the new dates on Ballerini’s Heartfirst Tour go on sale on the tour’s website.

Kane Brown Returns To Co-Host 2023 CMT Music Awards With Kelsea Ballerini

The KBs will reunite to co-host the 2023 CMT Music Awards, CBS and CMT announced Thursday.  Kane Brown will join the previously announced Kelsea Ballerini to host the show, which is set to air live from Moody Center in Austin, Texas, 8:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT, April 2 on CBS.  The 2023 CMT Music Awards, country music’s only fan-voted awards show,  will also be available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+. In addition to co-hosting the show, Brown will also perform.
