Miranda Lambert and Elle King are taking the stage at the Billboard Music Awards. The two will perform their chart-topping hit, “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home),” which recently became the first duet by two female country artists to hit #1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart since Reba McEntire and Linda Davis‘ “Does He Love You” in 1993. It was also named Video of the Year at the 2022 ACM Awards. “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” is nominated for Top Rock Song at the BBMAs, while Miranda is also up for Top Country Female Artist. The Billboard Music Awards, which will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

GRAMMY Museum Presents ‘The Power Of Women In Country Music’ Exhibit
From international superstars including Dolly Parton, Rosanne Cash, LeAnn Rimes, Shania Twain, and Taylor Swift to contemporary artists such as Mickey Guyton, and Carly Pearce, the GRAMMY Museum’s The Power Of Women In Country Music highlights the past, present and future of country music’s greatest female trailblazers. The exhibit launches on Fri. May 27 and will run through Sun. Oct. 2. These legendary acts eventually made way for performers such as Reba McEntire, Shania Twain, and Faith Hill and present-day hitmakers Maren Morris, Yola, and Brandi Carlile. The exhibit celebrates a dynamic group of female songwriters and performers who come from diverse backgrounds and draw from a wide array of musical influences. Miranda Lambert will now celebrate the next chapter in her storied musical journey with a headlining Las Vegas residency. “Miranda Lambert: Velvet Rodeo The Las Vegas Residency” opens Friday, Sept. 23, 2022 for a run of 24 shows at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Designed exclusively for Zappos Theater and promoted by Live Nation and Caesars Entertainment, “Miranda Lambert: Velvet Rodeo The Las Vegas Residency,” will give fans an up close and personal opportunity to experience live performances of the numerous chart-topping songs and beloved album cuts from Lambert’s seven No. 1 albums as well as her forthcoming project, Palomino, set for release April 29.
